Groundbreaking for new expansion of the CENTA headoffice
On 23rd June 2015 the managing directors of CENTA, Bernd and Harald Kirschey and the company’s founder Gerhard Kirschey fulfilled the groundbreaking for the factory extension in the street “Eifelstraße”. Also attendant were Knut vom Bovert, mayor of the city of Haan, Reinhard Willmes, managing director of the building company Runkel and the responsible architect Jochen Siebel.
CENTA invests about 8 million € in the new building which is a further milestone of the expansion strategy. With 2.940 m² of new hall area and 860 m² of new office area CENTA will be prepaired for its continuing growth.
The new building will be connected at the same level to the existing hall. It will allow a better flow of materials and an enlargement of the high rack warehouse. In addition more space for the projected expansion of the research and development department will be created.
