CENTA presents CENTAMAX, a coupling with high torsional flexibility, at the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology
CENTA will be presenting its CENTAMAX, a coupling with high torsional flexibility for diesel-driven engines, at the InnoTrans Trade Fair in Berlin from 23. – 26. September 2008. The coupling provides the flexible connection between engine and gearbox for a fail-safe operation in locomotives, gensets, and splitter gears.
Developed especially for drives subject to torsional vibration, CENTAMAX couplings with performance ranges of 0.1 to 48 kNm are among the highest torsionally elastic couplings available on the market. As a flexible connection between engine and gearbox, CENTAMAX couplings shift critical speeds far below idling speed and allow them to utilize the whole engine’s working speed without limitation. The drive train is then subjected to very low continuous vibratory torques and stress on the aggregates is reduced.
The CENTAMAX will be showcased at the InnoTrans Trade Fair, Berlin, in hall 20, stand 115 from 23. – 26. September 2008.
